Melanotan is generally used for skin tanning. It’s also used to produce erections in men with erectile dysfunction( ED), for rosacea, for fibromyalgia, and other conditions, but there’s no good scientific  evidence to support the utmost of these uses. There’s also concern that melanotan might not be safe when used as a shot under the skin.  Melanotan II is a peptide α- melanocyte- stimulating hormone( α- MSH) that leads to melanogenesis and increases sexual desire.

Still, Melanotan- II can cause dramatic skin darkening in just days, If  fitted  or used as a nasal spray. The  medicine can also suppress appetite and lead to weight loss, another effect that some  druggies find desirable   

How does it work?  

Melanotan is  analogous to a substance in our bodies, called” melanocyte- stimulating hormone.” This hormone increases the  product of skin- darkening pigments .Melanotan might also work in the brain to stimulate erections of the penis.   

Medium of action: 

Melanotan II acts as a non-selective agonist of the melanocortin receptors MC1, MC3, MC4, and MC5.( 5)   Melanotan II produces melanogenesis by activation of the MC1 receptor, whereas its clinically proven sexual effects are allowed to be related to its capability to activate the MC4 receptor( though the MC3 is allowed to also possibly be involved).

Other effects of melanotan II, substantially regarded as adverse effects, include flushing, nausea,  puking, stretching, yawning, and loss of appetite.

Uses & Effectiveness:

• Possibly Effective for  Erectile dysfunction( ED).

It can cause nausea, stomach cramps,  dropped appetite, flushing,  frazzle, yawning, darkened skin,  robotic erections of the penis, and other side effects.

In some people, especially those with light skin, a change in the shape of moles, new  moles and skin cancer, have all  passed in people using melanotan.
